The community Balinese gamelan group, Sekaa Gong Tirta Sinar, is established following the acquisition by The Australian Museum, Sydney, of a complete set of gong kebyar instruments, built in the same year at the Sidha Karya Gong Foundry, Gianyar, Bali.

Weekly practice sessions are instituted, continuing to the present.

1993
